But how do you ensure technicians have a shared understanding of those high standards when servicing and repairing – especially when they work for third parties?
Design
Practical online activities and authentic messaging
We developed short targeted online modules for service technicians of TR Group vehicles, reinforcing the message that if something is wrong, fix it.
The learning was optional, so we designed the modules to be as practical as possible, illustrating the safety requirements with many pictures, videos, and simple scenarios.
Online activities help learners try out and confirm their understanding, while simple animations make concepts memorable.
We also leveraged the strong TR Group brand to create a shared connection and commitment to quality, with videos of staff sharing why safety is so important to them.
Deliver
A blueprint for online learning.
The modules were a hit, and based on their success, TR Group came back with an even bigger challenge – converting unit standard training on dangerous goods from classroom delivery to online.
Building on the maintenance templates, we replaced text-heavy printed materials and PowerPoint presentations with highly interactive, mobile-friendly online modules.
Complex topics evolved from static diagrams to engaging animations that provide users with unique perspectives, while interactive scenarios help learners put theory into practice.
